| Calm before the storm |
We are all fine here. Hurricane Irene's winds were slightly north (we are on the Caribbean/south side), and all we saw here in Ponce was heavy rain. In fact, our power didn't even go out. We were busy yesterday hauling in everything from outside like ladders and potted plants. We also hauled in what appeared to be tin roofing, but were, as it turns out, hurricane shutters. Our learning curve is steep.
