Planned an overnight trip to Rincon (west coast) now that the lug nuts on the car no longer have to be removed with a jack hammer. Rincon is my favorite so far- its got a great California vibe, complete with surfing! Mickey and the kids rented a jet ski and had a great time. Mickey's new favorite food is something called
pinchos---which I think vary depending on which food truck you visit. Anyway this weekend pinchos were grilled chicken and pork on skewers for $2 each. We're told this is how the locals eat when they travel--only fools and tourists pay $102 dollars for lunch...and we LIVE here..so you know what that makes us. It must have been the extra plate of conch "critters" (fritters) Robinson ordered at the Lazy Parrot.
