The teacher who loaned us her place has been gone for several weeks. In her absence a fine black film covered the tile floors. As a result our feet and ankles look as though we have spent the better part of the day repaving Willy Street.
There are air conditioners in the bedrooms, but in Samuel and Robinson's room, the plug for the window unit was alarmingly hot and lacking a switch plate. We unplugged it immediately. The boys haven't complained once about the room being 90 degrees.
